EA (Entertainment Arts) successfully launched the single-player Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order over a year ago, on November 15, 2019. The game was launched to the PC players after it was successfully launched on Steam. The game recently launched a new mod, surprising many John Wick fans.
The NexusMods creator, XOGAMERMARK69, recently replaced the Fallen Order character, Cal, with Keanu Reeves from John Wick. Now, the game players can play as Keanu Reeves in Darth Vadar armor upon the attire usually worn by Cal.
A YouTuber Bombastic recently posted a video in which we can see that the modification is a simple swap of models that replaces the main character Cal’s roguish good looks with the dashing and charismatic Keanu Reeves. However, it is not known if the players will be able to change Reeves’ attire.
The move to rope in Keanu Reeves’ good looks in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was independent of Disney. There is no public record of Disney approaching Reeves for any of their future planned Star Wars Projects.
Reeves’ previous Hollywood projects showcased him in multiple roles. Whether it is him moving from galaxy to galaxy, seeking revenge for the death of his pet dog, or jumping time and space, his versatile roles make him perfect as the main character of the Star Wars Game.
However, for the publishers of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Entertainment Arts (EA), the game’s launch was like a turning point in their fortune. They are the sole owners of the Star Wars game franchise.
Players like many of the Star Wars games. Star Wars Battlefront II is soon expected to become free for the players courtesy of Epic Store, and Star Wars: Squadrons became a niche game title in several ways (It still managed to gain an audience).
Given how the Star Wars games have been faring, the games might finally be ahead of movies in the race of delivering a better and enjoyable experience to the audience, and bringing in Keanu Reeves might just be a move in the right direction.
