Bandai Namco Entertainment is a Japanese video game developer and publisher. The company has been responsible for publishing various game adaptations of anime like the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series.
Bandai has also published non-anime games like the famous Dark Souls Trilogy.
The video game developer recently released the Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris on July 10, and its on track to publish even more throughout the year.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released a live-action trailer on July 18 for its Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON game releasing on July 30 for PS4.
The trailer, titled “Continue Those Days on the PS4,” was released on 867TV’s YouTube channel and showed a man reliving his childhood playing Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengō vs. Z.A.F.T. II in the arcade.
The trailer ended with him meeting his friends and being invited to play the latest Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON, on the PS4.
The game announced a PS4 port on March 23 at a live stream presentation by Bandai.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON will launch on July 30 in North and South America, Europe, Australia, and Japan.
The PS4 port of Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON will feature
- 185 Mobile Suits from the 36 works also including non-player characters
- More than 300 Mobile Suits.
- Extreme Burst mode that significantly boosts Mobile Suit performance and allows players to use powerful attacks.
The Extreme Burst Mode will be the same as seen in the original arcade game.
Bandai Namco Entertainment also revealed that a new arcade game in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. series is also in works.
This PS4 port will surely bring back nostalgic feelings for fans who loved the franchise growing up.
