Power scaling in Mob Psycho 100 isn’t as straightforward as you’d think. Sure, you have your usual strength-skill-feats parameters, but the series actually revolves around emotions, psychic power, and control over that power.
With espers and spirits containing immense psychic energy, you also have humans who can access some of that power without having any of their own.
Here is a list of the top 10 strongest Mob Psycho 100 characters, ranked on the basis of raw strength, maximum output, offensive and defensive abilities, control, intelligence, emotional intelligence, combat prowess, and feats.

Lord Psycho Helmet is the consciousness of the Divine Tree. After Dimple gave up control of the Divine Tree, it became sentient and came alive as a separate entity.
Since the Divine Tree itself was formed through the 100% output of Mob and Toichiro, it contains a huge amount of psychic power.
Psycho Helmet can perform a mass hypnosis on the entire country – if not the world. Influenced by Dimple’s goal of becoming a god, Psycho Helmet seeks nourishment from all the espers and humans to grow bigger and more powerful.
Doesn’t need to be mentioned, but Psycho Helmet can perform Chlorokinesis to manipulate plants and its broccoli stems that have grown all over the city.
It can also continuously regenerate itself within the Divine Tree and hypnotize even great espers like Teruki.
Psycho Helmet would be higher on the list were it intelligent.
9 Arataka Reigan (1000% Gratitude)
Raw Power Level | 3 |
Max Power Level | 10 |

Control | 6 |
Intelligence | 10 |
Emotional Intelligence | 9 |
Combat Skill | 7 |

Reigan-sama! First let me talk about Reigan without any enhanced powers. He possesses a vast number of abilities that he has perfected all on his own, without having any raw strength or psychic energy.
He has a vast array of special techniques that are meant to be gag techniques, but they sure do get the job done. His martial arts skills don’t hurt. He was actually able to kick Mogami out for the body of Jodo with a knew strike.
When Mob reaches 100(0)% Gratitude on his Explosion scale, his power temporarily transfers to Reigan. This lets him effortlessly deal with several members of Claw, including the 7th Division Scars, including the gravity manipulating Ishiguro.
Reigan’s main power lies in his willpower, his charisma, and his emotional and practical intelligence. No matter who the opponent is, Reigan can overcome them in one way or the other, just by being himself.
8 Sho Suzuki

Max Power Level | 7 |

Emotional Intelligence | 9 |
Combat Skill | 7 |
Feats | 7 |

Sho Suzuki, the son of Toichiro Suzuki, the leader of Claw, can manipulate light to make himself invisible.
He uses it to negate Ishiguro’s Black Orbs.
His other powers include Psychic Energy Bombs, Light distortion, Telekinesis, and Psychic Negation, the latter of which is more strongly shown in the manga.
Sho is a truly powerful kid, and I hope to see more of his powers soon.
7 Teruki Hanazawa
Raw Power Level | 8 |
Max Power Level | 8 |
Abilities | 8 |
Control | 7 |
Intelligence | 8 |
Emotional Intelligence | 8 |
Combat Skill | 8 |

Teru is widely underrated across the fandom. He has a high amount of psychic power, which he has consistently honed through the series.
His greatest prowess is mimicking others’ psychic techniques: he learned the Air Whip from Terada, Pyrokinesis from Miyagawa, the Ethereal Bodies Technique from Muraki, and Telekinetic Explosion from a Claw agent.
Teru has faced some of the strongest opponents, including Mob and Psycho Helmet/God Dimple’s mind control. He was also clever enough to stand up to Shimazaki – he figured out his teleportation skills and pushed him to his limit.
6 Ryo Shimazaki
Raw Power Level | 7 |
Max Power Level | 9 |
Abilities | 9 |
Control | 9 |
Intelligence | 7 |
Emotional Intelligence | 6 |
Combat Skill | 8 |
Feats | 8 |

Toichiro mentions that Serizawa is more powerful than Shimazaki, and I agree, but Shimazaki’s psychic abilities aren’t to be taken lightly. Not even Serizawa would be able to escape Mind’s Eye.
Mind’s Eye is Shimazaki’s most powerful ability. He can sharpen his psychic senses and “see” all the objects, people, and auras in the vicinity. He can also sense their most vulnerable spots and attack them there.
Shimazaki’s teleportation skills are extremely useful during battle as he can also teleport objects and people with him.
5 Katsuya Serizawa
Raw Power Level | 9 |
Max Power Level | 9 |
Abilities | 8 |
Control | 8 |
Intelligence | 7 |
Emotional Intelligence | 7 |
Combat Skill | 8 |
Feats | 8 |

Our man Serizawa is only second in power to Toichiro himself as a former member of the Ultimate or Super 5 – the strongest espers in the villain organization, Claw.
Serizawa was initially afraid of his own power and needed an umbrella to channel it. Now, he has a better grip over his energy, and is probably one of the most efficient Psychokinetic users in the series.
4 Dimple (God Dimple)
Raw Power Level | 6 |
Max Power Level | 9 |
Abilities | 8 |
Control | 9 |
Intelligence | 9 |
Emotional Intelligence | 9 |
Combat Skill | 9 |
Feats | 9 |

Dimple, our favorite evil spirit, fused with the roots of the Divine Tree in season 3 to fulfill his goal of becoming a god. His power, consequently, became godlike, once he had succeeded in hypnotizing the entire population.
His boost in power allowed him to transform all his abilities to their maximum. God Punch, God Dash, and God Beam, among others, were enough to completely overwhelm base Mob.
Later, Dimple was able to use God Barrier to keep a constant psychic barrier around Mob as he himself fought – and defeated – Psycho Helmet.
He was also able to use Telekinesis to lift the entire Divine Tree and throw it into the ocean.
Dimple’s intelligence is also a force to be reckoned with – he managed to trick even the smartest people into consuming his contaminated edibles and take over them completely.
Even without his god powers, normal Dimple, being a spirit, can possess humans, including espers, and use their skills to his advantage.
3 Keiji Mogami (+Absorbed Spirits)
Raw Power Level | 8 |
Max Power Level | 9 |
Abilities | 10 |
Control | 10 |
Intelligence | 9 |
Emotional Intelligence | 6 |
Combat Skill | 10 |
Feats | 9 |
Total | 71 |
Mogami on this list is both spirit and esper. Before he died, he was considered the Greatest Psychic of the 20th Century.
His reputation even instilled fear in Dimple, who asked Mob and Reigan to leave when he realized who they were dealing with.
Mob himself said that Mogami might be stronger than he was. It took Mob to go into 100% Courage, his strongest form below ???%, to be able to defeat him.
Having absorbed several evil spirits over his lifetime, he could use them to attack Mob in the Mental Mindscape he had trapped Mob in.
As a spirit himself, he could also possess humans and perform powerful Telekinesis which could strangle people from a distance.
Mogami could also drain the life out of those around him, including plants.
2 Toichiro Suzuki (100% Output)
Raw Power Level | 9 |
Max Power Level | 10 |
Abilities | 9 |
Control | 9 |
Intelligence | 10 |
Emotional Intelligence | 8 |
Combat Skill | 10 |
Feats | 9 |
Total | 74 |
Toichiri Suzuki, the former leader of Claw, is the strongest villain we’ve witnessed in Mob Psycho 100.
He is the only esper apart from Mob who is capable of absorbing and transfering psychic energy. He can store huge amounts of psychic power, and had been continuously doing so for 20 years.
It is Toichiro’s own power that consumes him and this is how he was defeated. Mob himself stated that even at 100%, he was of no match to Toichiro.
Toichiro can also precisely control the amount of power he uses, and it is only against Mob that he is forced to exceed 40% and eventually reach 100. His excess power, along with Mob’s, led to the creation of the Divine Tree.
Toichiro is a character who has the widest range and deepest degree of psychic abilities shown yet.
1 Shigeo “Mob” Psycho (???% Mob)
Raw Power Level | 10 |
Max Power Level | 10 |
Abilities | 10 |
Control | 9 |
Intelligence | 8 |
Emotional Intelligence | 10 |
Combat Skill | 9 |
Feats | 10 |
Total | 76 |
Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama is the strongest character in Mob Psycho 100. His “???%” state is an infinitely powerful form that can access boundless amounts of psychic energy. Mob can defeat any character in the series easily in this subconscious state, be it human, esper, or spirit.
The creator of Mob Psycho, ONE, stated that if Mob became conscious during ???, he would be powerful enough to end galaxies.
For now, ??? is a subconscious state operating on instinct.
Even at Mob’s 100% explosions, no other opponent except Mogami and Toichiro can even bare to be around him.
Mob’s raw psychic energy is larger than all others, and this makes him stronger than all other characters even though he is still 14, and has never had any psychic training.
Honorary Mention
100% Ritsu deserves a place on this list. We only see this form in the manga, but it is so strong that it can take a direct hit from ???% Mob.
