‘Mo Dao Zu Shi’ is receiving a Japanese manga adaptation by Yuzurin and Dae. The manga will start in Summer 2024. 

A new teaser visual for the Japanese manga has been revealed. The image features Lan Zhan donning his usual stoic face, and Wei Ying is seen wielding ‘Suibian’ with a playful expression.

The picture stands out as it is predominantly black and white but employs contrasting blue and red hues to accentuate key features of our main characters.

‘Mo Dao Zu Shi’ is the story of an unconventional young man named ‘Wei Wuxian’ who becomes a target of various ploys and meets a tragic end. 

He gets a second chance at life when he reincarnates. He decides to go on a journey to seek truth and bring justice, accompanied by his soul mate, Lan Wangji.

It is brilliant news for the fans of the series as they get to enjoy the story from a new medium and get a chance to relive the story.

Mo Dao Zu Shi is a novel by Chinese author, Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It has received a donghua, web-series as well as audio drama adaptations. It is a well-known BL series.
