Meisei High School will soon be making a comeback on the baseball field, as the second season of MIX: Meisei Story was announced this August. The anime has just revealed a few more details which confirm its return in 2023.
On Monday, the official Twitter for MIX: Meisei Story and the January 2023 issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday revealed a key visual for Season 2. It shows the Tachibana brothers Touma and Souichirou walking back from the field.
In addition to this, the second season will be titled “MIX: Meisei Story ~Our Second Summer, Beyond the Sky~” and will arrive sometime in the spring of 2023. It will narrate the events after the summer of the first year of high school.

The first season of Mix: Meisei Story aired in 2019 and ran for twenty-four episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the series.
For the second season, the cast members will be reprising their roles. Here’s the list of the main characters in the series:

The upcoming season will air on YTV and NTV in Japan. As for streaming, nothing has been confirmed but Funimation and Crunchyroll would likely stream it because they aired the first season.
About Mix: Meisei Story
Mix is a baseball-themed manga series written and illustrated by Mitsuru Adachi. It is a sequel to the 1981 manga Touch and has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shōnen Sunday magazine since May 2012. It received an anime adaptation by OLM in April 2019.
It is set thirty years after Touch and features the step-brothers Touma and Souichirou Tachibana as the protagonists. The brothers are Meisei’s new hope to reach Kōshien while they learn of Meisei’s sports heritage and their fathers’ past.
