The Yozakura family places Tsubomi on bed rest and an IV drip. While the family works to help regain her consciousness, Kyoichiro wishes to kill her instead because he believes she will bring danger to the family. Mutsumi, Futaba and Kengo decide to take care of her and then hand her over to the association.
They find a chip with a research data stream that includes part of their parents’ body parts marked as “ready for delivery”. Shion considers then a list of assets in cultivation, which provides for all the existing Yozakura family members. This means that they, too, will be hunted for five to six years after they are “matured”.
The stream then displays assets currently being retrieved: Ban and Keiko Yozakura, their grandparents. Ban then calls them and tells them he and Keiko are safe and in hiding/ on vacation and sensed danger after the rest of them left the ship. He senses danger creeping into their family and asks them to protect Mutsumi.
The family then senses a presence entering their house; someone seemingly entered without activating the traps. Asa arrives to collect Tsubomi.
