We already saw Kobayashi struggling quite a bit trying to adjust to her new life with dragon maid Tohru. Adding to Kobayashi’s trouble, Kanna soon joined in on the fun filled Season 1 of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid.
Now, four years after the first season, we fans are finally getting a sequel filled with Tohru’s cute antics.
Season 2 of Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid titled “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S” has just dropped an exciting first PV.
In typical Miss Kobayashi fashion, the three main characters: Kobayashi, Kanna, and Tohru reveal the July 2021 premiere for Season 2 in the PV. We can see a new dragon named Iruru trying to fight Tohru.
The trailer also revealed the new staff for Season 2.
After the tragic deaths of Season 1’s director Yasuhiro Takemoto and art director Mikiko Watanabe, the franchise appointed two new staff members to fill in their shoes.

The S in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S, stands for Super Supreme Second Life Starts. This second life a.k.a the second season will see a new dragon villain threatening to ruin Kobayashi’s peaceful life.
This new dragon named Iruru will be voiced by Tomomi Mineuchi.
If you are having a hard time trying to remember Season 1, you can refresh your memories with a recap airing on ABC TV, TOKYO MX, and BS11 from April 7, 2021.

About Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is a Slice of life, fantasy, comedy manga written and illustrated by Cool-Kyou Shinja. The manga began serialization in Monthly Action magazine from May 25, 2013.
It revolves around Kobayashi, a stoic programmer. While on her way to work, Kobayashi gets frightened after seeing the head of a dragon. Staring at her, the dragon immediately transforms into a young girl dressed in a maid outfit.
Introducing herself as Tooru, she reminds Kobayashi of her offer to stay in her home while she was drunk the previous night. Regretting her decision, she agrees to Tooru’s request to work as a personal maidservant to repay the debt for a shelter.
