Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 Episode 6, titled “Uncanny Relationships (One Side Is a Dragon),” aired this week.

So far, we saw Tohru and Elma explained their past to Kobayashi.

Although they didn’t want to admit it, they have always been close and looked out for each other in their own ways. Illulu decided to be productive and took up a part-time job.

Lucoa expressed her feelings towards Shouta and explained her reasons for staying with him. Takiya did not want Fafnir to be around when his parents come to pay him a visit. Saikawa happened to see Elma in her dragon form.

Episode 7 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 7 is titled “Common Sense (It’s Different For Everyone).”

I’m sure in the next episode, we are going to see the significant difference in perspective between a dragon and a human. 

Normally what humans would consider normal is not normal for dragons. A dragon would find it hard to achieve something as simple as engaging in conversation in an ideal manner. 

It will be fun to see how things play out differently depending on the person.  A human would react differently to a situation, and in the same manner, a dragon would respond in a totally different way in the same case. 

Episode 7 Release Date

Episode 7 of the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid anime, titled “Common Sense (It’s Different for Everyone)”, has been released on Thursday, Aug 19, 2021.

No, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is not on break this week. Episode 7 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 6

Episode 6, titled “Uncanny Relationships (One Side Is a Dragon),” starts with Shouta being uncomfortable as Lucuoa does not give him any personal space.

Shouta is tired of being jokingly harassed by Lucoa. He searches for any slight drawback about her to get back at her and have his revenge. 

However, it is a futile attempt. He is unable to get any conclusive result. Lucoa later discloses to Shouta that her genuine fear is to lose the spot she calls home. She also reveals that she is just living with Shouta as she likes him. 

In the meantime, Takiya forces Fafnir to vacate his place during his folks’ visit. Fafnir, on the other hand, does not comply with his demands. 

Talking with Shouta, Takiya acquires a magic circle to constrain Fafnir into a contract. However, he does not go ahead with it as he does not want to subdue his companion. They then choose to settle the matter with a game. 

After hearing from an acquaintance that he once strolled far from home, Saikawa and Kanna choose to walk the same path together since they have nothing better to do. 

Funnily enough, they coincidentally find Elma in her dragon form. Saikawa is pretty shaken up after witnessing this. The episode ends with Kanna convincing Saikawa that it was only a hallucination and dragons do not exist.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is a Slice of life, fantasy, comedy manga written and illustrated by Cool-Kyou Shinja. The manga began serialization in Monthly Action magazine from May 25, 2013.

It revolves around Kobayashi, a stoic programmer. While on her way to work, Kobayashi gets frightened after seeing the head of a dragon. Staring at her, the dragon immediately transforms into a young girl dressed in a maid outfit.

Introducing herself as Tooru, she reminds Kobayashi of her offer to stay in her home while she was drunk the previous night. Regretting her decision, she agrees to Tooru’s request to work as a personal maidservant to repay the debt for a shelter.
