Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 Episode 10, titled “Kanna’s Summer Break (Broadcast In Two Languages!?),” aired this week.

So far, we saw our overachiever Elma was being overworked at her job, as she tried to come up with solutions to ease everyone’s burdens.

Later, Tohru trusted Elma and asked her to watch over the kids as they went on their little picnic. Finally, Elma expressed her unresolved feelings to Tohru.  

In the latest episode, little Kanna got into a fight with Kobayashi and fled from home all the way to New York. Since she is so innocent and pure, she immediately made a friend who helped her maneuver through this new country.

Fortunately, she realized her mistake soon and went back home and made up with Kobayashi.

Episode 11 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 11 is titled “Premium Seat (No Extra Charge)” 

From the preview at the end of episode 10, I think it is safe to say that things will not be completely working out for Tohru.

Once again, some influential figure from the other world will come to Earth and try to get Tohru to return as she is a superior dragon. 

I’m sure she will even consider going back to her world because, in the end, she is very gullible. Still, we do not have to worry about that. As long as Kobayashi is around, she won’t let that happen.

No, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is not on break this week. Episode 11 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 10

Episode 10, titled “Kanna’s Summer Break (Broadcast In Two Languages!?),” starts with Kanna arriving in New York.

She flees from her home because she had a fight with Kobayashi, and unknowingly she flies so far that she reaches New York. 

We all know Kanna’s appetite. Within moments from her arrival, her stomach started growling. 

She is mesmerized by a hot dog stand and approaches it to purchase one. She offers him Japanese Yen, but he tells her in English that he cannot accept this currency. 

Since Kanna is unable to understand English, she uses her powers to be able to translate everything. She then realizes that she is helpless in the foreign country. 

Luckily for her, she comes across a girl who is being chased by the mafia. She saves her and befriends her. They then play together for the rest of the day.

She even treats Kanna to some food as thanks for saving her. Kanna then realizes that she has to go home and apologize to Kobayashi.

As she goes to bid farewell, the mafia kidnaps Chloe again, which enrages Kanna. She then arrives at their hideout and wreaks havoc.

Kanna then drops Chloe home, revealing her dragon form to her. After that, she also goes home and apologizes to Kobayashi, who was patiently waiting for her return. 

The episode ends with Kanna realizing that even though she is a dragon, she will always have a place to call home, all because of Kobayashi. 

About Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is a Slice of life, fantasy, comedy manga written and illustrated by Cool-Kyou Shinja. The manga began serialization in Monthly Action magazine from May 25, 2013.

It revolves around Kobayashi, a stoic programmer. While on her way to work, Kobayashi gets frightened after seeing the head of a dragon. Staring at her, the dragon immediately transforms into a young girl dressed in a maid outfit.

Introducing herself as Tooru, she reminds Kobayashi of her offer to stay in her home while she was drunk the previous night. Regretting her decision, she agrees to Tooru’s request to work as a personal maidservant to repay the debt for a shelter.
