Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S is the sequel to the ultra-cute anime about humans and dragons living together. No, it is not about an isekai world where a hero tames all the dragons.
Instead, it is about a soft-hearted girl, Kobayashi, who often ends up doing a favor to dragons, to the point that now she lives with them! These dragons may be fearsome creatures, but they live together in an apartment in their human forms as Kobayashi has become their mother hen.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will premiere on 7th July on ABC TV, Tokyo TV, BS 11, and other broadcasting channels. A brand new trailer has been revealed for the anime’s second season.
The trailer shows us glimpses of the time when Kobayashi had helped Tohru. Some heart-warming moments of Kobayashi with Tohru, Kanna, and Elma are also teased.
Iluhu, the red-haired dragon-girl, will be the new character in the anime who will bring chaos with her. However, we are sure that even she will realize just how peaceful a life Tohru and the others live.
A new key visual has been revealed as well.
The visual shows Tohru and Iluhu going all-out in the fight against each other. I bet that both of them will get a scolding from Kobayashi later, though. Both the visual and trailer hint at some warm cross-species interactive moments.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is one of those peaceful animes that you can rely on to re-energize yourself. With its second season releasing soon, we have no doubt that all slice-of-life genre fans will be overjoyed!

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is a Slice of life, fantasy, comedy manga written and illustrated by Cool-Kyou Shinja. The manga began serialization in Monthly Action magazine from May 25, 2013.
It revolves around Kobayashi, a stoic programmer. While on her way to work, Kobayashi gets frightened after seeing the head of a dragon. Staring at her, the dragon immediately transforms into a young girl dressed in a maid outfit.
Introducing herself as Tooru, she reminds Kobayashi of her offer to stay in her home while she was drunk the previous night. Regretting her decision, she agrees to Tooru’s request to work as a personal maidservant to repay the debt for a shelter.
