The Misfit of the Demon King Academy Episode 5: Release Date, Preview, Watch Online

The misfit of the Demon King Academy is a Japanese light novel series written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma.

After 2000 years, the ruthless Demon King was finally reincarnated, only to find the History about his existence to be misinterpreted and wrongly passed down. Not only are his descendants lacky, but also their magic spells are filled with errors.

Getting labeled as a misfit due to their beliefs in the incorrect History, Anos joins the Demon King academy with other students who are being trained to become Demon Lords. Follow the latest episode updates with us!

Episode 5 of The Misfit of the Demon King Academy anime, titled “The Transfer Student.” It will be released on Saturday, August 01, 2020.

No, episode 5 of The Misfit of the Demon King Academy anime will be released as per its schedule; thus, no such delay is announced.

2. Episode 5 Preview & Speculation

The preview for the next episode 5, titled “The Transfer Student,” was not revealed at the end of episode 4. We speculate Ivis will investigate the Demon Lords conspiring against the Demon King.

After confirming their sisterhood Misha and Sasha will finally be on good terms and continue their school life with Anos, maybe not in peace, but we would not worry much after Anos keeps surprising us with an upgrade in power each time.

A new character will be making their appearance, will this transfer student prove to be an enemy or a friend to Anos? We will find out in the next episode!

3. Recap of Episode 4

I. Misha’s truth

Episode 4, titled “15th birthday,” begins with Misha telling Anos that she is to disappear on her 15th birthday at midnight and that Misha Necron never existed in this world in the first place.

Anos understands that she was initially Sasha, and they are the same but separated by the magic used to divide one person into two.

Ivis Necron cast this magic to create a more powerful demon. Upon Misha’s request, Anos and Misha approach Sasha to know the truth of her feelings about Misha.

But instead, she challenges Anos to a duel again, and if he wins, Sasha would tell them her answer. 

II. Travel in the time realm 

Sasha casts two magic circles Zexis and Delt and tells Anos he only needs to control Zexis to win. Without any effort, he takes Zexis under control and makes Sasha answer Misha’s question.

Sasha tells Misha that even though she accepted her fate to disappear, Sasha kept working to find a way for Misha to remain in this world.

Ultimately, she came up with the magic which would allow Misha to become the original, and Sasha would disappear instead, but when she casts it, she fails as Misha doesn’t reject Sasha nor comes to hate her.

Sasha begs Anos to perform the magic alternatively to save Misha. But he comes up with a solution to have them both live as two separate demons and sends them to the past.

III. Do you think you can kill your King?

But Anos gets attacked by Ivis, who announces that the sisters are to become the vessel for their founding ancestor and so he cannot let them separate.

But Anos sends him flying in flames and performs Rivide; they are met with Guardian God of Time, Eugo La Raviaz, who comes from the Heavenly Realm that controls time.

He fuses with Ivis to punish Anos, who dared to manipulate the past.

During their battle, Ivis makes a mistake and reveals he hadn’t forgotten that Anos Voldigoad was their founding ancestor and faced Anos’s wrath for attacking him in the Demon Kind’s castle.

He destroys Sasha and Misha’s fate, which inflicts injustice upon them and succeeds in separating their core.

After the battle, Anos resurrects Ivis and provides his real memories with an order to investigate the other Demon Lords. The latter changed History in an attempt to erase the Demon King’s existence.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy, also known as Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha, is a Japanese light novel series written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma.

The series initially began as an amateur web novel in April 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by ASCII Media Works, which officially began to publish it in March 2018.

A manga adaptation by Kayaharuka launched online in July 2018, and an anime television series adaptation by Silver Link premiered on July 4, 2020.

It tells the story of History’s Strongest Demon King, who reincarnates after 2000 years and goes to Delsgade School (which trains young demons) with his descendants.

However, after his reincarnation, he finds out that the world is too used to peace that his descendants became too weak due to a colossal weakening in magical powers.
