The world plunges into chaos as Misa reveals herself to be Avos Dihevia in episode 5 of The Misfit of Demon King Academy season 2, titled “Between Royalty and Mixed Blood”. She declares herself the true demon king and all the royals start terrorizing the hybrids. Anos takes his allies and visits his parent’s place to gauge the situation.
Since Avos can’t avail herself to any place not in the lore, Anos takes half of the group with him and enters Delsgade through the basement where Zeshia and others live.

Episode 6 Speculation
Anos and the group are heading off to face Avos and all the Royals that follow her. They will be going to Delsgade from their secret route, which will probably be helpful in surprising Avos. Anos would have to think fast about a way to kill Avso without harming Misa.
In order to help them, Anos might enlist the help of the Spirit King. However, he would need to gauge his intentions first.
Considering it is highly likely that Shin is the Spirit King, he might have some reasons for going against them since he was the most loyal to Anos. We might be closer to revealing the mystery about Lena as well. The next episode will reveal exactly what happened between Leno and Shin all those years ago.

Episode 5 Recap
After Misa takes the form of Avos born from Demon and Human lore, and releases the magical broadcast, she challenges Anos. Anos calmly takes in the whole situation and surmises that she isn’t able to attack him because she doesn’t possess the Magic Sword of Destruction.
Avos puts a barrier all over Delsgade. Anos tells everyone that one-half of Misa was born from Avos Dihevia’s rumors and lore. Lay blames himself for it and Anos promises that he will destroy Avos and save Misa. Enyunien tries to stop them from leaving but Anos uses his magic to burst them out.
Erges aids them in keeping attackers off, and Lena persuades the spirits to show them a way out. The group, with Lena, heads off to the outside of the barrier. They meet up with Elio, still loyal to Anos, who tells them of the chaos going on in the city. Royals have started killing and absorbing magic from hybrids.
In the city, Emilia, one of the Royals that Anos earlier turned into a hybrid, runs away from the Royals. She remembers her own old self while witnessing the cruel way in which the Royals speak. Suddenly, Anos’s parents get in between the attackers to save Emilia. Emilia saves Izabella from one of the attacks.
Anos arrives in time and kills all the attackers brutally. While his parents celebrate his coming back safely, he reassures them about the situation.
The group discuss how to get to Delsgade. Anos tells them that the reason Avos can’t claim the magic sword is that there is no lore about it. Thus, she can’t avail herself to places that have no rumors or lore.
They decide to take the route to the underground city since Anos built it after his reincarnation and it will be beyond Avos’s reach. The group splits with some of the members staying behind to protect the city. Anos opens a portal to the city.
Emilia asks Anos to kill her and he tells her to think about her old ideals, now she has spent time as a hybrid and she starts crying while remembering her past. He thanks her for saving his mother and heads to the underground. The group prepares to face their enemies.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy, also known as Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha, is a Japanese light novel series written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma.
