It’s hard not to fall in love with the protagonist of Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki. A phantom thief whose identity is known to none? Sign me up for ogling at Queen, the gorgeous character in question.
In the upcoming OVA, Queen will face a trope of oddballs who dare set sight on the same jewel as them. A saga of brain games and competition will begin as the anime is set to be released this year.
Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki will receive a theatrical OVA in the summer of 2022. While you wait for this exciting project, check out this new trailer that teases the unique main character:
The trailer shows Queen and their partners in crime: Joker and RD. This group of thieves is nowhere near normal as they fly around in an airship, and the boss is mysterious enough for no one to know their nationality, age, or even gender.
Soon, we are also introduced to the notorious circus troupe who will steal the jewel that Queen wants. The ultimate chase it will lead to can even rival Lupin the Third.
East Fish Studio is animating the OVA, and some of the staff members have also been revealed by the video:

About Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki
Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki is a novel series, written by Kaoru Hayamine and illustrated by K2 Shōkai. The novel began publishing in March 2022 and Kodansha has released 15 volumes of it under their Aoitori Bunko children’s imprint.
The story features the Phantom Thief Queen whose age and gender are unknown and flies around in their airship looking for various treasure. Queen begins chasing a mysterious circus troupe to get hold of the legendary cursed jewel, ‘Rose of Linden.’
