Once Human’s post-apocalyptic world is hard to traverse. Building shelters and polishing your weapons are both equally important. If you want to go and explore newer regions then your gear must be of a sufficient tier in Once Human.
This means it is necessary to upgrade tiers in order to progress the game. The ores are a key requirement in increasing the tier of gear. Tungsten is one of the best tiers of ore in the game. Once you are sufficiently leveled up, it is not hard to obtain.
1. Where to find Tungsten Ore in Once Human?
Tungsten Ore can be found in the Red Sands region north of the Iron River in Once Human. There are many deposits of Tungsten Ore around the hills. Tungsten deposits are usually around Aluminum Ore.
Tungsten Ores are rare. Simply put, they are rarer than Iron Ore and much easier to find than Gold Ore. The good news is that they are scattered densely in the Red Sands Region.
As you can see in the map above, the place with the pointer has a cluster of Tungsten Ores. Another tip is to be careful and distinguish between Tungsten and Aluminum Ore. Not only are they located close to each other, but they also look alike.
2. Tips for finding Tungsten Ore
The difference between Tungsten and Aluminum is that Tungsten is a deeper shade of grey (and has shards sticking out). After a little mining practice, you will be able to tell them apart. For your ease, let us take another spot where you can mine for a lot of Tungsten.
It is best to get a vehicle and travel around the Red Sands area collecting the Tungsten you need. This area not only has a lot of Tungsten Ore but also other ores like Copper, Aluminium, and even Gold.
Follow the trail and look around. The Red Sands are named so because they literally have ‘red sand’. This place has a background that makes it incredibly easy to spot ores lying around.
When you see those dark ores, go collect them, but don’t run away just yet. Roam around in the surroundings and you will usually be able to find another Tungsten deposit. They are normally positioned close to each other.
This way you will be able to make the best out of your efforts and clear out the major deposits in the Red Sands Region. Even better if you find additional ores and mine them.
