I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2 Episode 5: Release Date, Speculation

In Episode 4, the Islanders defeated the orcs but faced an even greater problem when the earth started trembling, followed by volcanic eruptions and massive tidal waves.

Just when we thought that the situation couldn’t get any worse, a scary fire-breathing dragon emerged out of the volcano. Can Cantil and his warriors safeguard the villagers in this apocalypse? We bring you the latest episode update of this anime.   

Episode 5 Preview & Speculation          

Episode 5 titled, “The Drifting Island,” will show how the Dragon emerging out of the lava will become one of the greatest threats that Jiffon Island has ever faced.

For now, Cantil and his warriors are scattered here and there, so it won’t be easy for them to contain the Dragon away from the villagers. Defeating the Dragon is clearly out of the question, so the only option is to seal it within the mountain again.

Episode 5 Release Date            

Episode 5 of the I’m Standing on a Million Lives anime has been released on Friday, Aug 06, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 4 Recap          

In Episode 4, General Cantil and his warriors gallantly fight against the remaining orcs. The gruesome battle made us question if anyone is right or wrong in a war.

It was the islanders who first breached the peace treaty between the two races and proved the orcs to attack them. From the orc’s point of view, humans are nothing but monsters that they are scared of.

Cantil engages the orc queen in an intense battle, and tries to keep her away from the ship. Just when he was on the verge of victory, an even greater danger appeared before the Jiffin island.

Tremors are felt all over the island, followed by volcanic eruptions and high tidal waves. It seems that the island itself is splitting into two halves since it is located in between two plates.

Thanks to the underground passages, the villagers find a safe shelter inside the temple, which has survived several disasters. They fear that the gods are punishing them for the violence of the war.

Meanwhile, Yuusuke comes up with a reckless plan of bringing down the entire temple and kill all the orcs in it. He doesn’t care about the sacrifices as long as he can attain his goal of killing all the orcs.

Just when everyone thought that the situation could not get any worse, an enormous dragon emerges out of the lava and heads towards the temple. Can the warriors defeat this overpowered creature? We have to wait for the next episode to find that out.

About I’m Standing on a Million Lives

I’m Standing on a Million Lives is a manga written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao. The manga began serialization in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine on June 9, 2016.

The story revolves around Yotsuya Yuusuke, who is transported to another world along with his classmates Shindou Iu and Hakozaki Kusue.

Mythological creatures inhabit this new world. As soon as they arrive, they are greeted by the Game Master, who then grants them a time-limited quest.

Shindou and Hakozaki are given the roles of a Magician and a Warrior to aid the quest. But Yotsuya is randomly assigned the role of a Farmer.

Hence they begin their Isekai adventure for the three, with Yotsuya’s farmer class being the odd one. They must do random quests and defeat monsters they encounter.
