I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2 Episode 4: Release Date, Speculation

Episode 3 broke our hearts with Ryce’s tragic death. This was the only time when he decided not to run away from his fight, and the recklessness cost him his life.

There’s no way our heroes can let Ryce’s sacrifice go in vain. Can they defeat the Queen orc and expose the traitor among them?  We bring you the latest episode update of this anime.  

Episode 4 Preview & Speculation         

Episode 4 titled, “We can never be on the Side of Justice,” will take us to the final showdown between Cantil and Queen Orc. Just as everyone feared, she is aiming for the ship, and I don’t thik that she will go down easily like the other orcs.

The previous episode made us question if orcs are really the ‘villains in this war. Humans broke their peace treaty in the first place, thereby provoking them to attack. Can these two rival races ever co-exist peacefully?

Episode 4 of the I’m Standing on a Million Lives anime has been released on Friday, Jul 30, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Episode 3 Recap          

Episode 3 starts with Ryce narrating how his friends got killed one after another, but he kept on running away from fights. He doesn’t have a shred of regret because his cowardly retreats kept him alive.

Coming back to the ongoing fight between humans and orcs, the orcs are having the upper hand due to their impenetrable defence. They are destroying everything that comes in their way.

However, Yotsuya completely turns the tables with his self-made weapon that works on slingshot mechanism. In other words, it’s an advanced version of cross-bow that takes an awfully long time to reload.

The plan was to distract the orcs away till they find an opening to shoot them down. The strategy works perfectly fine until Ryce gets smashed by one of them while trying to distract it.

Yotsuya finishes off the orc in the very next moment, but Ryce’s condition was beyond recovery. He takes his last breath, hoping to meet his long-lost friends on the other side.

The warriors are heartbroken with this news, but they continue to kill the orcs; otherwise, Ryce’s sacrifice will go in vain. A terrifying thought comes to their mind that Queen orc may target the ship.

Cantil rushes to the shore to find out their suspicions were correct. Can he stop the Queen orc? We have to wait for the next episode to find that out.

I’m Standing on a Million Lives is a manga written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao. The manga began serialization in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine on June 9, 2016.

The story revolves around Yotsuya Yuusuke, who is transported to another world along with his classmates Shindou Iu and Hakozaki Kusue.

Mythological creatures inhabit this new world. As soon as they arrive, they are greeted by the Game Master, who then grants them a time-limited quest.

Shindou and Hakozaki are given the roles of a Magician and a Warrior to aid the quest. But Yotsuya is randomly assigned the role of a Farmer.

Hence they begin their Isekai adventure for the three, with Yotsuya’s farmer class being the odd one. They must do random quests and defeat monsters they encounter.
