2. Episode 14 Speculation
Migi and Dali are finally living as their separate selves. The Sonoyamas already had a hunch that they had two boys instead of just one. They even remembered their likes and dislikes. Migi and Dali have also accepted Eiji, and the triplets are reunited.
However, no matter how close they are, Migi and Dali are two different people in the end. They go on different paths to pursue their own dreams. They have to prove that no matter how far apart they are, their heart is one.

Dali got scarred in the house fire, so he refuses to come out anymore. He wants Migi to live as Hitori alone, so the Sonoyamas won’t worry anymore. Dali has decided to live as Migi’s shadow and help him with school.
Hitori’s grades and popularity skyrocketed, and he became the new star of his school in Eiji’s absence. However, Akiyama is worried about Dali, and Migi confesses that instead of being Hitori, he wants them both to be Migi and Dali.
The Sonoyamas celebrate Christmas and ask Hitori what he wants from Santa. Migi starts listing off many things, and they tell him to ask for only one gift. Dali has a nightmare of Migi growing up and having his own family, leaving Dali behind.
Dali wakes up to two presents under the Christmas tree and is surprised. Migi and Dali realize that the Sonoyamas already knew that they were two different kids. Migi is overjoyed, but Dali is worried that they are both very different people.
Migi reassures Dali that even if they grow up to become different people, the fact won’t change that his happiness is Dali’s and vice versa. Both Migi and Dali join the Sonoyamas for Christmas dinner, and they all laugh together.
A few years later, Eiji is released, and the Ichijos visit the Sonoyamas. Migi asks Dali to dress up as Sali to lighten the mood, which works. The triplets visit Metry’s grave together, and Eiji pays his respects.
Dali leaves for higher education, and Migi stays behind to focus on his own career. Even after they part ways, their hearts are one.

Migi and Dali (Migi to Dali) is a manga series by Nami Sano. It was serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine from July 2017 to November 2021 and an anime adaptation by Frontier Engine and Geek Toys is under production.
The story follows the twins Migi and Dali who swore revenge on their mother’s killer. They are adopted by a childless middle-aged couple and work under the name Hitori to prevent others finding out that they’re twins and figuring out their identities.
