Horror and comedy have got to be one of the best yet the most unusual pairing of genres out there. Not everyone can pull it off except for Mieruko-chan.
This story leaves you feeling confused, whether you should laugh at the situation or sleep with all the holy ornaments you can find. Miko trying to deal with ghosts appearing out of nowhere is a whole other ball game.
Miko, an ordinary schoolgirl, has an abnormal ability to see terrifying spirits. While it’s scary, it sometimes helps out in figuring people’s true intentions.
But no matter what, it’s still traumatizing to see spooky spirits everywhere you go.
Following the story’s theme, Mieruko-chan anime revealed yet another terrifying visual for the show which is scheduled for Fall 2021.

The teaser visual shows an average person’s view and what Miko sees daily. One of the pictures is an ordinary one with Miko and her friends Hana and Yuria.
The second picture shows a spirit behind the girls that can make someone’s blood run cold.
Moreover, Miko’s voice actor Sora Amamiya will perform the ending theme song called “Mita na? Mita yo ne?? Miteru yo ne???” (You Saw It? You Saw It, Right?? You’re Seeing It Right Now, Right???)
\ ED theme information announcement !! /
Following the OP theme, the ED theme is also a solo character song by Miko Yotsuya (CV. Sora Amamiya).
A CD containing the OP & ED theme will also be released on October 27!
OP theme “Because I can’t see it !?”
ED theme “Mitana? Mitana Yone ??? Mitana Yone ???”

Amamiya is also in charge of the opening theme of the show. It’s called “Mienai Kara ne!?” (Since You Can’t See Them, Right!?). She will be performing both the songs as her character Miko.
The franchise also revealed that a CD containing all the songs would be out on October 27, 2021.
Additionally, on the occasion of Kaidan Day, the franchise released a 12-minute long story-telling video. In this video, Hana’s voice actor, Kaede Hondo, narrates a horror story.
The manga is not just famous for the peculiar blend of horror and comedy but also the visuals. Manga readers know precisely how nightmare-ish Tomoki Izumi’s art style is.
While it’s scary, it is also commendable at the number of spirits Tomoki has created, and how different and equally terrifying they all are.
Watching it in animation sure will be challenging, but I am so excited for it too!
