His comeback to headline the cast of Dead Reckoning Part 2 will make Ethan Hunt one of the most enduring action heroes in film history.
2Luther Stickell
Luther Stickell is a long-standing character who first appeared with Ethan Hunt in the first Mission Impossible movie. He’s a loyal friend and ally, though his skills often keep him away from the field where he operates from behind the scenes. The character is played by Ving Rhames in Dead Reckoning Part 2.
3Benji Dunn
Benji Dunn joined the series in Mission Impossible III as another supporter of Ethan Hunt, providing technical assistance and serving as his communication link during missions.
Benji also adds much of the humor to the franchise, lacking the same self-assurance and flair as agents like Hunt. Simon Pegg plays Dunn in Dead Reckoning Part 2. He has been the ideal choice for this comedic role, bringing a welcome dose of amusement to the Mission Impossible films.
4Isla Faust
Isla Faust debuted in Mission Impossible Rogue Nation as another spy who clashed with Ethan Hunt, but the duo soon developed a strong connection. They also learned to support each other in their respective missions. The character is played by Rebecca Ferguson.
5Grace
The character of Grace is introduced in Dead Reckoning Part 1 as another spy Hunt collaborates with throughout his most hazardous mission yet. She’s played by English actress Hayley Atwell, who continues the role as part of the cast of Dead Reckoning Part 2.
6Alanna Mitsopolis
Alanna Mitsopolis debuted in Mission Impossible Fallout, though she’s better known as The White Widow. A criminal arms dealer and money launderer who helps Hunt and his team in their pursuit of Solomon Lane, Mitsopolis finds herself summoned again to aid Hunt in Dead Reckoning Part 1. Vanessa Kirby reprises her role from the first part.
7Gabriel
The character of Gabriel is crucial to the plot of Dead Reckoning Part 1, as he’s the main villain who triggers the series of events that lead to the entire adventure.
The antagonist is played by Esai Morales, who is best known for playing Del, the main villain of Ozark’s first season showing that he’s got experience playing these kinds of menacing, mysterious antagonists.
8Eugene Kittridge
Eugene Kittridge was introduced in Mission Impossible as the director of the Impossible Mission Force, though he didn’t reappear until his comeback as part of the cast of Dead Reckoning Part 1 and 2.
In the original movie, he didn’t trust Ethan Hunt and even blamed him of being a mole, so the duo has some conflict to resolve. He’s played by Henry Czerny.
