My Hero Academia’s primary focus is the students of Class 1-A at U.A., however the story pairs up other characters quite often. One of the pairs that stands out the most is the unlikely duo of Bakugo and Kirishima. Why is it that this cynical and monstrous Hero finds comfort in the friendship of this happy-go-lucky dude? Well, it looks like there’s a pretty simple reason.
SMASH, a spin-off series from My Hero Academia recently released a new bio online. It hinted at the fact that Kirishima and Bakugo may have a deeper bond than we’ve initially been led on to believe.
The bio reads as such:
“This all-around good dude is always cheery, but his tendency not to sweat the small stuff makes him something of an airhead. Still, that positive attitude of his is positively infectious! Katsuki likes to pretend to be pissed off by their friendship because he can’t admit that Kirishima is like chicken soup for his soul.”
The duo had pulled off some epic moves in unison when their backs were against the wall. Despite Bakugo’s hot head, we’ve seen them act like brothers and this bond between them is deeper than anticipated. This of course makes watching them grow much more enjoyable.
