With the Endeavor Agency arc almost finished, we are just about to dive into the good stuff with the war arc. But as it is with the My Hero Academia anime this season, we have to wait yet again.
The broadcast of the anime has already been delayed twice this season. Even though it was due to good reasons, the delays are worrisome nonetheless. With the Olympics Games going on right now, we are in for yet another one.
My Hero Academia season 5 episode 19 will be delayed by a week due to the Tokyo Olympics 2021 broadcast. It will air on 14th August 2021 instead. However, it doesn’t mean that next week will be empty for the fans.
Instead, a special program will be live-streamed on 7th August 2021 on the Toho Animation YouTube channel. The program will commemorate the end of the Endeavor Agency arc and the release of My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission movie.
Saturday, August 7th, 17:30

The special program will be hosted by the voice actors of Deku (Daiki Yamashita), Bakugo (Nobuhiko Okamoto), and Todoroki (Yuki Kaji), who will most likely discuss the movie.
Given the timing of the end of the internship in the anime and the movie’s release, the film might just be the big finale to end the trio’s studies under Endeavor.
This movie seems to be different from the previous two as this one is likely to be directly canonical. My Hero Academia generally never includes any filler episodes in the middle of the season. But this time, they went out of their way to make one just to set up the upcoming movie.
The next episode will mark the end of the current arc. It will reveal some important information about the nature of Nomus and a mysterious glimpse into Aisazawa’s past.
