Call Me by Your Name director-actor duo is back with a genre bending upcoming film Bones and All. The movie will be released in theaters on November 18, 2022, after generating positive reviews at the Venice International Film Festival in September.
The MGM distributed stills of Lee and Maren, two cannibalistic lovers who drive across the country to escape their pasts, only to be tangled in it. The film, directed by Luca Guadagnino, stars Timothée Chalamet, Taylor Russell, Mark Rylance, and more.
The film was highly commended at the Venice International Film Festival for its blend of genres and for the performances by the actors’. The film even received an 8.5-minute standing ovation at the international film festival.
MGM released new production images for the film, a brand-new poster and an official trailer.

According to the director, the coming-of-age horror film will not only tease the lengths of cannibalism infused with romance but also highlight the growth of the two main characters on their journey of self-exploration, symbolized by their cross-country road trip.

About Bones and All
Bones and All is an upcoming coming-of-age romance horror based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis. The movie is directed by Luca Guadagnino, famously known for the 2017 film Call Me by Your Name.
The film, a cannibal love story like any other, will follow Maren and Lee traveling a thousand miles in the backcountry to escape their pasts when it catches up with them. Will their love survive the final stand against the past’s demons?
