Metallic Rouge Ep 2 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Rouge and Naomi eliminate another member of the Immortal Nine in episode 1 of ‘Metallic Rouge.’ After some secret infiltration, Rouge’s cover is eventually blown.

Sarah, a famous singer, goes around the world performing shows. However, her secret identity is Purgatory Viola, one of the Immortal Nine. Rouge and Naomi track down each member of the Nine and eliminate them with the power of Rouge’s red Gladiator armor.

However, Naomi’s true objective is yet to be discovered. Hell Giallon, another troublesome foe, pulls the strings behind the scenes.

1. Episode 2 Release Date

Episode 2 of ‘Metallic Rouge’ will be released on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Wednesday. You can watch ‘Metallic Rouge’ anime on Crunchyroll.

I. Is Metallic Rouge on a Break?

‘Metallic Rouge’ is not on a break this week. Episode 2 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 2 Speculation

Rouge and Naomi are secretly hunting down each member of the Immortal Nine. So far, they have taken out three members and are already tracking the next. Naomi is in charge, and Rouge is likely just a soldier who listens to Naomi’s every command.

The main obstacle in their mission is likely Giallon. Naomi immediately recoiled on seeing Giallon’s mech form, meaning he is on a different level than the others. Moreover, Giallon is more scheming and has been pulling the strings behind Viola. 

Now that Rouge’s identity has been exposed to Giallon, she will be in more danger. Their operation may fail unless Naomi and Rouge focus on taking out Giallon next.

3. Recap of Episode 1

Rouge watches a music show from beside the stage while munching on some chocolate. Meanwhile, a sketchy deal occurs in the warehouse. Rouge follows Sarah around, acting as her personal assistant. The human workers of Sarah continuously bully the Neans around, even stealing their Nectar.

Rouge talks to their bird, reporting all of the day’s activities. The bird tells Rouge to stay with Sarah until she can confirm accurate information. A red Gladiator appears in front of Sarah the following night and corners her. Sarah’s bodyguards begin firing, but the robot remains unharmed.

Naomi meets with Rouge, introducing herself as the voice behind the bird. The two go for some quick food, and Rouge confirms that Sarah is not Viola. However, Naomi had spotted Sarah injecting herself with Nectar. Therefore, Sarah is most likely one of the Immortal Nine.

Sarah secretly meets with Giallon and discusses the red Gladiator. Giallon says that Silyia, one of the Alters, suspects that Sarah has leaked information to the enemy. Sarah thinks that Rouge had been the one who leaked the information. 

After their meal, Viola invites Rouge to an abandoned arena. However, Rouge gets ambushed by the Red Gladiator. Viola immediately recognizes that the Gladiator is Giallon. Naomi watches from afar, gaining information on the entire story. Suddenly, the Red Gladiator jumps up and starts fighting Giallon.

Giallon leaves the rest of the battle to Viola and leaves the area. Rouge introduces herself, and Viola transforms into her mech form. The two begin fighting with all of their special powers. Naomi needs Rouge to take some hits to analyze her attack patterns. 

Viola asks Rouge why she’s after the Immortal Nine while constantly sparring with energy beams. After Naomi’s analysis, Rouge charges in and trades blows with Viola. In the end, Rouge outpowers Viola and wins the battle.

Metallic Rouge is an upcoming Japanese original anime television series produced by Bones for the studio’s 25th anniversary.

Metallic Rogue is set in a future where humans and androids coexist. It tells the story of Rogue, an artificial girl, and Naomi, her human companion. They are sent to Mars, where they are entrusted with eliminating nine artificial people who are adverse to the government.
