Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is undoubtedly the best entry to the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Even those who were never fond of the series became hardcore fans after playing Snake Eater.
Metal Gear Solid 3 was released back in 2004 on PS2 and has never been ported to any other platform besides Nintendo 3DS. However, thanks to the effort put in by a modding community, this is about to change.
The mod is being developed by BeesWX, who took to Reddit to post the screenshots of Snake Eater recreation in Metal Gear Solid 5. When asked about the mods’ availability, the modder said, “It’s still in its baby steps but progress is going fast.”

As seen above, the team of modders is doing some fabulous work at remaking Metal Gear Solid 3’s map in The Phantom Pain. To make a game that rolled out in 2004 look so spectacular deserves applauds.
BeesWX also revealed that fans could expect a teaser of the mod to release “when there is some good content” available.
