Mereoleona Surpasses Every Black Clover Character and Raises the Dead

Mereoleona Vermillion is a powerful Magic Knight known for her unpredictable actions. Recently, in Black Clover chapter 371, we witnessed the end of the intense fight between Mereoleona Vermillion and Paladin Moris Libardirt. 

Initially, it seemed like Moris would emerge victorious, but Mereoleona turned the tables just in time with some twists and secured the win.

Mereoleona Gets Her New Spell 

In Black Clover chapter 371, Mereoleona pushes past her limits again. After using Hellfire Incarnate for an extended period, she achieved a new spell called Ultimate Flame Magic: Excelicitus Leonum. With this spell, Mereoleona transcended her human body and became pure mana.

Moreover, the spell enabled her to bring back the spirits of her fallen allies, similar to the legendary phoenix. Although the details of this aspect of the spell are yet to be fully explained, only Lucius Zogratis has previously been able to transform the dead into Paladins single-handedly.

Can She Resurrect The Dead Permanently?

Mereoleona’s subordinates retained their personalities and memories even after their deaths. This was evident in how they obeyed her command and followed her despite being resurrected only moments ago. 

The resurrected Crimson Lions Magic Knights joined her in fighting Paladin Morris’ army. During the battle, it was observed that they had gained increased strength and could use their spells beyond fire. 

Based on these observations, it can be inferred that Mereoleona has the ability to resurrect the dead. However, she did say one thing that seems to suggest otherwise. When the Crimson Lions were resurrected, they were understandably confused and questioned their return.

“Even if you die, follow me…you fools!!!!”

The dialogue hints that the resurrected Crimson Lions might still be deceased. Although they may appear alive by moving and casting spells, they could be nothing more than spirits molded by mana.

This raises the possibility that the Crimson Lions, who were brought back to life, may return to being dead when Mereoleona ends her spell.

Is Mereoleona Stronger Than Any Other Black Clover Character?

Mereoleona Vermillion has been exceptionally strong since she was a teenager. She was forced to train alone in harsh natural environments with strong mana regions and fierce monsters. These environments helped Mereoleona to become strong and learn new techniques such as mana skin and mana zone.

Furthermore, Mereoleona’s transcendence into mana was something no Magic Knight had ever done before. The only time such a feat was deemed possible was through her.

Despite her three-leaf grimoire not being the most talented or blessed when it comes to mana, her skill at handling mana is second to none. And we can’t forget that she can also raise the dead now.

The only other Magic Knight who could do the same in the series might be Lucius Zogratis. However, the manga has yet to showcase developments that hint at the same possibility. So, we can assume that Mereoleona is stronger than any other character in the series.
