Continuing the rising tensions between the Clover and Spade Kingdoms, Chapter 274 of Black Clover displays Mereoleona Vermillion’s new power surge as she fights an ancient demon to help the Resistance members.
Nacht transports his team and infiltrates the Spade Kingdom while the Resistance surrounds it from the outside only to be faced with a giant demon obstructing their path.
Chapter 273 teased of a great threat to be thrown at the Resistance members, and we find it to be an incredibly powerful ancient demon sent to annihilate the Resistance members.
Chapter 274 ended with Mereoleona Vermillion showing up to the Resistance’s rescue while she unleashes a lethal punch at the demon.
1. What Do We Know So Far?
Nacht and his team members are ready for battle when the Resistance decides to infiltrate the Spade Kingdom from the outside.
However, the Spade Kingdom has a new trick up their sleeves as they prepare for a gruesome attack on the Clover Kingdom people. They slowly let their enemy approach them while they set up the trap.
We know Nacht had convinced Asta to join them in the fight against the Spade Kingdom and end their tyrant rule. But, Nacht also instructed Asta to polish his and Liebe’s devil union magic before joining them.
Nacht and his team plan to hold off the fight until Asta can make an appearance.
Nacht and his team infiltrate the Spade Kingdom from the inside while the Resistance surrounds the Kingdom from the outside only to meet a giant ancient demon waiting for their arrival.
The demon slowly approaches the Resistance members when suddenly a mysterious figure flies towards the demon’s face and punches it.
The figure is then revealed to be Mereoleona Vermillion who was stationed in the capital of the Spade Kingdom to aid the people in the invasion.
2. Mereoleona’s New Power Surge
Mereoleona Vermillion is the first daughter of the Clover Kingdom’s House Vermillion. Although a hot-tempered girl, she is immensely resilient and has incredible powers to fight her enemies.
She was stationed in the capital of the Spade Kingdom to assist the members during the invasion. She sees the giant ancient demon and plunges herself at its face, throwing a powerful punch.
After the Eye of Midnight Sun incident, the Clover Kingdom decided to train under Heart Kingdom spirit guardians but Mereoleona was missing from the action.
We think that during the six months of being stationed in the Spade Kingdom, she might have trained hard to assist her team to victory.
Her training was indeed successful as we see her in a new light as she unleashes a power never seen before.
Let’s wait for Chapter 275 and see how Mereoleona tackles the monster as Nacht and his team wait for Asta and Liebe’s grand entrance into the battle.
