1. Episode 10 Speculation  

In Episode 10, Joe will continue with the gym’s construction. He isn’t alone anymore; he has the children by his side who wants to create a home for them.

However, Sachio is the only one who doesn’t have any faith in Joe. He still blames Joe for losing his family. The final words of his dead father keep resonating in his ears.

I think it’s just a matter of time before Sachio will forgive Joe, because that’s what their father would have wanted if he was alive.

Episode 10 of the NOMAD: Megalo Box 2 anime has been released on Sunday, Jun 06, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 10 of NOMAD: Megalo Box 2 will be released as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.      

3. Episode 9 Recap     

In Episode 9, Joe starts rebuilding the Nowhere gym all by himself. It seems that the orphanage children still bear a heavy grudge towards Joe since none of them comes to help.

Meanwhile, Sachio focuses solely on Megalo boxing and keeps fighting matches one after. He has lost all faith in the idea of ‘home’ and wants to devote the rest of his life to Megalo boxing.

Everyone warns him that if he continues to fighting recklessly, he may end up dying soon. He isn’t in a state to take anyone advise, so he visits his dad’s grave to calm himself down.

Then we get to see flashbacks of the final words of his father. He asked Sachio to have faith in him and let him live his dream. He ensured that Joe cared for the family more than anyone else.

Just when he was about to leave, he meets Joe, who has come here to offer flowers to his dad. Sachio gets annoyed to see him and welcomes him with a punch in his face, but strangely, he shows no intentions of fighting back.

Sachio feels that it is too late to resolve anything. The gym Nowhere will never be the same again, especially if it’s reconstructed by the one who abandoned it.

The next day, a dreadful storm hit the place, and Joe struggles to protect the under-construction gym from the strong wind. To his surprise, Ochio and other children come to assist Joe because deep down all of them crave for a place to belong from.

However, there’s no sign of Sachio. He is probably resting after his matches. Can the Nowhere gym reunite Joe and Sachio? We have to wait for the next episode to find that out.

Megalo Box is a sincere homage to the iconic Ashita no Joe’s manga as well as anime series. Megalo Box was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the renowned and redefining boxing series – ‘Ashita no Joe.’

Chikara Sakuma launched a manga adaptation of the Megalo Box anime titled: ‘Megalo Box – Shukumei no Shoken.’ It was serialized in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge from February 2018 to August 2018 with a total of 2 volumes.

TMS Entertainment, with the help of 3xCube, developed the original anime series ‘Megalo Box,’ which was heavily inspired by ‘Ashita no Joe.’ The first episode aired on April 6, 2018.
