The Last of Us is easily one of the finest PlayStation games ever made. Everything about it echoes class. Unfortunately, the game never expanded onto the PC platform. Thanks to a team of Turkish Developers, PC users can play a game that largely resembles our beloved franchise.
Potentia is a post-apocalyptic third-person shooter game developed by Wily Pumpkin Studios. Released on February 11, the game is available on Steam for PC. It strongly mirrors The Last of Us in terms of visuals and environment and has received a ‘Mostly Positive’ review by players.
Through its visuals, TLOU depicts a society where nothing but despair, misery and sins survive. It is wonderfully bleak with a hopeless atmosphere. Potentia tries to encapsulate just that.

In Potentia, you play as Victor (Btec Joel), whose wife has gone missing due to a bewildering energy catastrophe. You will have to live in a sphere where humans live like hyenas, hunting in packs with no connection between them whatsoever.
There are no infected people in the game plus the game revolves around finding your wife. Besides these elements, you are basically playing The Last of US on PC.

The ammo is obviously too precious to be discharged randomly like in any other dystopian game. Moreover, you’ll need a tactical approach to succeed here.
It doesn’t matter if you are a no-nonsense shooter or a stealth player, as the game allows for any type of gameplay. Just remember the resources are scarce!
The game was praised for its combat mechanics, music, and (unoriginal) visuals. However, enthusiasts were also quick to point out the bad plot, unsatisfactory voice acting, and tedious gameplay.
Luckily, the game offers a free demo so that you can judge its worth for your own good. If you end up liking it, then hurry up as it is being sold at a discount of 10% on Steam.
