‘Mecha-Ude’ follows Hikaru Amatsuga, a young boy who comes across a strange mechanical arm. To his surprise, said arm turns out to be sentient. As it turns out, the arm, Arma, is actually a ‘Mecha-Ude,” and not just any Mecha-Ude, but one that has been dormant for 100 years.
The two of them team up alongside Aki Murasame, a girl with her own Mecha-udes, who joins an organization, “ARMS,” which is at war with “Kagami Group,” who is bent on taking away every Mecha-Ude for their gain.
On Friday, the official website for Sae Okamoto’s Mecha-Ude project’s full-fledged anime unveiled the anime’s main staff, cast, 2024 premiere, and first promotional video.

The trailer for the anime reveals the general plot for the upcoming anime. In all honesty, the anime’s animation style and overall feel are stunning. The trailer also reveals the main staff and cast for the anime.

The ‘Mecha-Ude’ anime looks impressive, with a fantastic team and cast that has worked on some of the biggest projects, and I’m pretty sure this upcoming anime will become the must-watch of 2024.
About Mecha-Ude
Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms is project by Sae Okamoto. An ONA episdoe based on it was released in Septmber 2018 and the project has announced a full-fledged anime series and manga adaptation.
It is set in a world where alien lifeforms came to Earth and fused with humans. Due to their appearance, the aliens were called ‘Mecha-Ude’ as they looked like mechanical limbs. The story begins when an average teenager, Hikaru Amatsuga fuses with the rare and special Mecha-Ude called Alma or the Trigger Arm.
Given its special status, ARMS assigns Aki to protect Alma. Soon trouble follows them when Aki’s life is put in danger and Hikaru is forced to fight.
