Mayor Of Kingstown Season 1 Episode 5 Recap
Kyle and Ian are being interrogated after the pizza joint shooting. Mike arrives on the scene and declares it to be a drug bust. The District Attorney tells Mike she has a potential client for him. At the prison, an inmate by the name of P-dogg gets served human feces for his dinner by the guards.
Mike has a meeting with a man whose younger brother got falsely imprisoned for being present on a drug bust. He insists his brother is innocent and asks for Mike’s help to get him out. His next client is the man the D.A sends, a man whose daughter was murdered. He claimed the killer was a man named Parker, who confessed to brutally killing her but later retracted his confession. Her case was never prosecuted because the police never found her corpse.
Parker is already on death row, but the man wants him to pay for what he did to his daughter. He hires Mike to get another confession out of Parker and take him to trial for his daughter’s murder. He wants him to suffer longer for what he did and believes that death would be an easy way out for Parker.
Bunny tells Mike about the incident with P-dogg and asks him to tell the guards to back off. Mike tells him he warned him about the fallout. He later asks Bunny to ask around about Parker and get some intel on him from inmates inside the prison.
