Assassin’s Creed Shadows is finally out and has met with mostly positive reviews despite many controversies. The game, just like all the previous ones, offers a wide variety of cool gears that you can acquire to buff up your stats while looking sharp.
Unfortunately, it also features the evergreen gamer dilemma of whether to go for the gear with better stats or the one with the better looks. However, the good news is that you can solve this problem by simply “transmogging” to keep the stats of one armor while maintaining the looks of another!
1. How to Transmog in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
To Transmog a gears in Assassin’s Creed Shadows:
- Equip the weapon with the desired stats.
- Go to the Menu.
- Navigate to the “Inventory” Tab.
- Select the “Customization” option by pressing “X” on your Keyboard or “Y” on the Console.
- Scroll through the similar gears (that you have unlocked) and select the one with the desired looks.
With this, you will now be able to get the best of both worlds. Still, there are a few prerequisites that you must fulfill to unlock this customization option. Firstly, you must have a forge in your hideout, and secondly, a Blacksmith, to run that forge.
2. How to set up a Forge in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
After completing the starting quests, a hideout will be unlocked for you where you can set up your leagues and recruit more people for your purpose.
At the very back of the hideout house, you can find the “Improve Hideout” option on a hideout miniature. Interact with it and go to the “Build” option.
Here, navigate to the Forge and set it up at the desired location within your hideout. It requires simple materials to build a Forge. You can find these in ample amounts in your surroundings.
Moving on to the Blacksmith. Interact with Tomiko to get the “Way of the Blacksmith” quest. Complete this quest and you will recruit a blacksmith. After this, you will be able to Transmog all your gears and enjoy the game a bit more.
3. About Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft, set to release in November 15, 2024. The game is the fourteenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2023’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage, as well as the first title to be included in the Assassin’s Creed: Infinity platform.
Set in 16th-century Japan towards the end of the Sengoku period, the game will focus on the millennia-old struggle of the Assassin Brotherhood, who fight for peace and liberty, and the Templar Order, who desire peace through control, from the perspective of two protagonists: Naoe, a female shinobi, and Yasuke, an African samurai inspired by the historical figure of the same name.
