Mash defeats Macaron in episode 7 of Mashle: Season 2, titled “Mash Burnedead and the Magical Maestro.”
It took Mash the whole episode to defeat Macaron. Macaron even transformed into a different form to deal with Mash, but the latter outwitted him and grabbed the victory.
It was an enjoyable episode with many magic spells being at play and Macaron trying everything to crush Mash, but all his efforts failed. However, the celebrations soon went silent when Innocent Zero showed up, claiming Mash to be his son.

2. Episode 8 Speculations
Wahlberg and Innocent Zero will face each other in episode 8 of Mashle: Season 2, titled “Mash Burnedead and the Tall Tower.”
The biggest suspense left by the previous episode was Innocent Zero calling Mash his son. If that is true, Mash must have taken birth only to complete Innocent Zero and make him the ultimate power in the world.
For now, I am excited to see Wahlberg showing off his magic abilities. He will be against the strongest entity of the anime. This battle will be epic to witness.
3. Episode 7 Recap
Mash and Macaron’s battle continues. Macaron makes a cushion on the ground, using his magic to protect himself from the huge fall. He attacks Mash with repetitive attacks, but the latter dodges them all.
Mash gets behind his opponent, but Macaron turns around at the right moment. As he is about to attack Mash at point-blank range, he stops. He senses that Mash is trying to guard something.
Mash takes out a creampie. Macaron says that they can’t fight all out like this. Mash keeps the creampie away, and they resume. Macaron ruptures Mash’s ears with a magic attack.
Mash fails to block any of Macaron’s attacks as these attacks damage him internally. Macaron is disappointed by their power difference and decides to end the match.
He surrounds Mash with huge gramophones and unleashes his spell. However, Mash is nowhere to be found. Suddenly, a hand emerges from beneath and buries Macaron into the ground.
Mash comes out and kicks Macaron’s face hard to put him down. He avoided the sound attack by burying himself into the ground at supersonic speed. He then starts hitting Macaron with continuous punches, not giving him time to get up.
Impressed, Macaron decides to show Mash his true form. He goes through Sound Metamorphosis and transforms into his true form. Everyone is amazed to see that he got younger, while Mash is surprised that he grew back some hair.
His ultimate form enables Macaron to move around like sound itself. He can teleport with a snap, not giving Mash time to think or attack. However, Mash finally dodges an attack by using the properties of sound and his reflexes.
This impresses Macaron even more, and he decides to go all out with his next spell. A huge bell appears in the arena. This bell will ring in one minute, incapacitating anyone who hears it. The only way to stop it is by taking Macaron’s wand away from him.
So, the tussle to take the wand away from Macaron begins. Mash fails to grab Macaron, but in the last ten seconds, he stops Macaron by blocking his way using the ground and snatches the wand at the last moment, hence stopping the bell from going ablaze.
Macaron accepts his defeat. Everyone is elated by Mash’s victory when suddenly, a crack appears in the sky, and Innocent Zero emerges. He stops the time and freezes everyone with one finger.
He goes to Mash and calls him his son, claiming that absorbing Mash will complete him. As he is about to absorb him, Walhberg shows up, stopping Innocent from harming Mash.
