Mashle: Magic and Muscles Episode 8 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

The war between the Adlers and Magia Lupus begins in episode 7 of Mashle: Magic and Muscles, titled “Mash Burnedead and the Mysterious Letter.”

With the journey for Divine Visionary finally kicking off, the first obstacle to the group is Magia Lupus. An incredibly strong collection of magic users, also part of the Lang Dorm, contains the highest number of coins, led by Lord Abel.

Mash and Lance encounter an attack from two fangs of the Magia Lupus group, and their strong magic is quickly overwhelmed by their pure strength. However, the true power of Magia Lupus is yet to be discovered.

1. Episode 8 Speculation

A new member of Magia Lupus is revealed to be extremely strong and has either teleportation magic or extreme speed. Lance could not use his magic on him, which means he may also have some resistance to the spell or the ability to nullify it.

We will likely see a fight with him next episode, and this one will be more challenging than all the fights so far. It will end in Mash’s victory, but he must go above and beyond his usual strength to beat this formidable foe.

3. Recap of Episode 7

Mash obtains a gold coin and eventually finds himself in the headquarters of Magia Lupus, where he walks in on an important meeting. Abel begins talking to him and making conversation about Divine Visionaries and tells him that his purpose is merely too weak to be a Visionary.

He talks of the philosophy of Magia Lupus and the law of nature, making them superior to all. Abel threatens to kill him if he doesn’t give up his gold coin and uses a puppet to take the coin by force. However, as he walks out of the room with the coin, Abel notices something is off.

There’s a missing button on one of the puppets, and it’s revealed that Mash had merely swapped the coin and the button, using just the power of his breath, leaving Abel amused at his skill.

Lance and Dot have a faceoff as neither of them can get along with the other, and it almost escalates into a fight. Mash also enters the room, bringing the entire group together and eating cream puffs. Currently, the Lang Dorm has the highest number of coins.

They all group together and decide their objective is to beat the Lang guys and take their coins. While Mash has to clean up the owl huts as punishment, they’re attacked by two Fangs of Magia Lupus, who immediately use their water-type spells to fight.

The fight is quickly split into two phases. Anser and his giant magic shuriken take on Lance and his gravity magic; however, he is hesitant to use his attacks since the owls would also get caught in the crossfire. 

Desperately trying to protect the owls, Anser continues to taunt and blabber on while Lance bleeds from everywhere. Using Graviole to lure all the owls to a different spot, he is finally free to use his magic to his full strength and send Anser straight to the floor.

Meanwhile, inside the water spell, Olore has assumed shark form and prepares to hunt down Mash. However, he has no chance against Mash, who swims around at incredible speeds and eventually lands a massive barrage of punches making him unconscious.

While they assume the battle is won, another member of Magia Lupus walks in and recovers the bodies of his allies. Showing his strength and speed as neither Lance nor Mash could land an attack, he quickly leaves with his objective complete while both stay in disbelief.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Kōmoto. It was launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in January 2020 and ended in July 2023, with its chapters collected in 18 tankōbon volumes.

Set in a magic world, Mash Burnedead is a young man who was born without magic. In order to live a peaceful life with his adoptive grandfather, he needs to become a Divine Visionary, a title given to exceptional students from the Easton Magic Academy.

Mash goes to the magic school, despite not having any magic, and must survive by only relying on his muscles.
