Backed only by his father’s position and the Bureau’s influence, it is not nearly enough to bring down Mash. His luck continues to pull through for him as Mash manages to both bring Cavill down as well as gain the favor of the Principal.

3. Recap of Episode 3:
Even though he can’t use magic, Mash starts his life in the magic school. He attends the first class on learning how to use a broom and fly and sits on the lawn with the others as he commands the broom to fly, and it doesn’t even budge.
Instead, he kicks the ground hard enough for the broom to jump into his arm. Next up is a race, and no hope lies in Mash to win. However, the race ends as quickly as it starts as he dashes to the finish line in record time, so fast that only a handful could even see what happened.
Mash threw the broom hard and jumped onto it in mid-air, letting the inertia carry him to the finish line. His opponent refuses to accept the loss, but his friend Cavill steps in and introduces himself to Mashle, asking for his friendship.
Known to be a bully, Cavill is the son of a high-ranking official in the Bureau of Magic, a governing body whose words are absolute in this realm. Standing against them is merely asking to be expelled and a continuous life of torment.
Cavill approaches him once more in Potions class and offers his help in exchange for some favors, which he carries out with no embarrassment. Behind the scenes, Finn is forced to tear out his textbooks and mess with Mash but is eventually overcome with guilt and tries to stand against Cavill.
However, he immediately gets attacked and tied with strings. Mash walks into him on the floor and bleeding and learns about everything that has been going on. He grabs Cavill by the hair and smashes him into the floor, everything witnessed by Vice Principal Farman.
He threatens Mash with severe punishment for attacking someone of such high status; however, Mash kicks him in the face too. Farman says he will expel him, but he merely threatens to bury him in the ground if he does so.
He is eventually summoned to the Principal, where his punishment is duly about to be delivered. The Bureau has ordered his expulsion. However, the Principal refuses to carry out the order and feels that someone like him has the potential to be a Divine Visionary.
The MVP of Duelo invites Mash to represent them in a game and does not take no for an answer. Eventually, he is forced to join the fun, even though he can’t ride brooms. He stands on the ground, wishing he was home right now.
