New Promo Video Confirms Mashle Anime’s April 2023 Debut

Muscles and hard work can beat magic, and Mashle’s peculiar protagonist, Mash, is here to prove it right.

The anime is a hilarious blend of a Harry Potter-like setting with a hero that isn’t the savior of the magical world but one that stands against it. While it sounds serious and deadly, it is far from that, and the latest trailer proves it.

Jump Festa ‘23 has revealed a new promo video for Mashle: Magic and Muscles, which confirms the anime’s April 2023 debut.

Mash is a boy born without a speck of magic in a reality where mystic arts run everything, putting his life in grave danger. To protect himself and his adoptive father from threats of this magical world, Mash takes on an impossible challenge and gets into magic school.

The video portrays Mash proving to others that he can do anything that magic can and with more perfection and accuracy. Although people don’t initially believe him, Mash always comes through and leaves everyone speechless.

Besides the video, the franchise has also revealed a new key visual featuring Mash with his friends, Finn Ames, Lance Crown, Dot Barrett, and Lemon Irvine.

In addition, the franchise has also shared that the manga will be made into a stage play in summer 2023. It will be around the same time the anime comes out, making it all the more special for Mashle fans.

The franchise will reveal more details regarding the stage play’s cast and staff soon, so stay tuned for that.

This year’s Jump Festa has been extremely memorable as it gave us back-to-back good news about our favorite anime and manga.

I feel that 2023 will be another memorable year for the otaku community.
