Marvel’s Spider-Man was a critically acclaimed game initially released for PlayStation 4, developed by Insomniac Games. Later it was ported to PC in August 2022 by Nixxes and renamed Spider-Man Remastered.
The latest update for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered brings improved Bluetooth Support for PlayStation DualShock and DualSense controllers. DualSense adaptive trigger feedback has now been made available with Steam Input. The patch also includes optimizations for some Intel CPUs and new updates to the game that leverages the Intel Xe Super Sampling Version 1.1.
One interesting thing is that the patch notes are the same for Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales, despite having different version numbers. It is understandable, given that neither of the two games has any significant bugs or issues that need to be fixed.
The future of the Spider-Man franchise looks especially bright with the announcement of the upcoming Spider-Man 2 title that will feature both Peter Parker as well as Miles Morales.
The upcoming Spider-Man 2 was unveiled at the PlayStation showcase and will be launched exclusively for PS5 in the Fall of 2023. The map size for Spider-Man 2 has been confirmed to be twice that of Spider-Man.
It’s great to see the developers care for the community and work on the feedback that is provided to bring out new patches and updates to make the game more enjoyable.
With the new updates, players can pull out their controllers and have a replay of Spider-Man: Remastered and Miles Morales before Spider-Man 2 drops this fall.
