With the Marvel Universe set to expand in 2021, the comic book giant has kicked the year off with a quick recap series, Marvel Studios: Legends.
The series will revisit the most iconic moments of every hero or villain which the upcoming Marvel production will revive. The first two episodes remind us of Wanda Maximoff and Vision before WandaVision starts airing on January 15.
Each episode is only seven minutes long giving fans the perfect 15-minute recap of the returning legends. This way fans will be able to skip revisiting the earlier stories and save a lot of time. Wanda first appeared in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and Vision has technically been around since the first Iron Man in 2008.
Marvel is yet to announce the legends it will cover in later episodes of the clip show. But with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier hitting Disney Plus on March 19 and Loki coming sometime in May, we can expect their Legends episodes soon.
After an entire year of no Marvel productions, 2021 is ready for an onslaught of MCU series and movies. As 2020 came to a close, we were informed of at least 10 new Marvel series coming in the next few years. The most of famous and urgent ones being WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki.
They will be followed by Ms Marvel, What If?, She-Hulk, Ironheart, Secret Invasion, Armor Wars, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, I Am Groot, and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
With Marvel Studios: Legends, Disney is clearly hoping to entice the viewer into sticking around and rewatching the old movies again. It has done a great job too at that. The editing is crisp and background score dramatically nostalgic. Each character’s episode has been given its own story and narration, making it useful even for new viewers.
Have you seen Marvel Studios: Legends? Did it make you wanna binge the old films?
