Madhouse has collaborated with Marvel Entertainment in the past to create four animated series based on the characters of Marvel comics.
The four twelve-episode series, based on Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade, aired in Japan on Animax between October 2010 and September 2011.
Marvel Future Avengers is another project on which Madhouse and Marvel Entertainment worked together. The series began airing on the Dlife satellite channel in July 2017 and ran for 26 episodes.
The second season of Marvel Future Avengers, which debuted in 2018, was region-locked to Japan upon release.
Disney announced on Friday that Marvel’s Future Avengers Season 2 is finally about to be released internationally via Disney+ on May 22, 2020. This will let audiences around the globe enjoy the adventures of Makoto and friends.

The series’ first season was also region-locked upon release. On February 28, 2020, it was added to Disney+ and released internationally.
The anime follows Makoto, Adi, and Chloe as they transition from Hydra projects to members of the Avengers.
Upon meeting the Avengers, which they were raised to believe were evil, their new life begins as they learn and train under these living legends to someday protect the world in their stead. Hence the name – Future Avengers.
In 2014 Toei Entertainment collaborated with Marvel Entertainment to create Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers. This show followed 5 children who can call upon various members of the Avengers who are trapped in “DISKs.”
The 51-episode long anime shows them traveling around the world to collect all the DISKs before they can be used for evil.

They leave the organization and team up with the Avengers to take down Hydra. Seeing their capabilities, the Avengers take them in and create the team – Future Avengers.
