Samuel L. Jackson Accidentally Reveals [SPOILER] is in Secret Invasion

Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion is shrouded in mystery, but its secrets stand the risk of rapidly being revealed with production currently underway.

However, the newest one is a solid reveal and not just speculations based on BTS photos as it comes from none other than series star Samuel L. Jackson.

While talking to Josh Horowitz during a Q&A panel, Jackson accidentally, yet very casually, let slip that Martin Freeman would make an appearance as Everett Ross in the upcoming Disney+ series.

Jackson was talking about the talented cast, including newcomers Olivia Colman and Emilia Clarke’s entry to the MCU. While listing some other names from the series line-up, Jackson mentioned Freeman.

Everett K. Ross first appeared as a CIA agent in Captain America: Civil War and later in Black Panther, with set photos confirming that he will play a part in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Recently leaked prop photos revealed that the plot will involve major political distress with the president of the USA and Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes having an urgent meeting with world leaders. So Ross’ role and involvement with the CIA doesn’t come off as a surprise.

However, if everyone who leans more on the political than superhero side of things is making an appearance, then one is left to wonder whether it’s really the agents themselves or just the Skulls meticulously executing an all-out ‘Secret Invasion.’

Although the series doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, Secret Invasion is expected to premiere sometime in 2023.

Secret Invasion is an upcoming television show on Disney+. It is based on the Marvel comic of the same name and will be a part of Marvel’s Phase Five.

The show will focus on Nick Fury and the alien race of the Skrulls, who have been infiltrating the Earth for years.

Cast members include Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Colbie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Ben Mendelsohn, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, and Kingsley Ben-Adir. It will be released on June 21, 2023.
