Mandalorian Season 3 February 2023 Release Date is Only a Rumor

The Mandalorian was renewed for season 3 in April 2020, even before the season 2 premiere. According to Making Star Wars, the upcoming season has a confirmed release date of February 2023. But now we have news that the release date mentioned above is not official.

The Mandalorian cast released a trailer at the 2022 D23 Expo for season 3, and the show was set to release in 2023. You can watch the teaser below:

The teaser presents the latest adventure in Din’s journey: a civil war with his fellow Mandalorians. The previous seasons of the show were a success, and the teaser has set high hopes for the upcoming season in the fandom’s hearts.

But now, after reaching out to Disney for confirmation, it was confirmed by ScreenRant that the February slot is not official.

So, when can we expect The Mandalorian season 3? Well, as we know, Disney is not releasing two original shows simultaneously on their platform. The Bad Batches 16-part series will continue in February after its premiere in January 2023, so the February slot is out.

Viewers can expect The Mandalorian to return with his new quest on Disney+ in mid-2023 – this is just a speculation and not an official release window.

The Mandalorian’s primary quest of returning Grogu to the Jedi is now complete, and his new candidacy as the leader of the Mandalore is confirmed, further adventures in season 3 will definitely be worth the wait.
