Life often disappoints humans. Sarasa, the protagonist of the ‘Management of Novice Alchemist’ anime, is a first-hand sufferer of this fact.
She thought graduating from a prestigious alchemist academy would guarantee a safe future. Little did she know that a passage through fire was waiting for her.
The anime will premiere on October 3, 2022. Its opening theme song is “Hajimaru Welcome” by Aguri Oonishi, and the ending theme “Fine Days” is performed by Nanaka Suwa.

Sarasa passed her academy with flying colors, and what awaited her was the key to her own shop. She thought those keys would unlock a grand shop, not an abandoned old shack in the middle of nowhere.
The incomparable shock she receives is rare. Well, she has her work cut out. She has to start from scratch and build up the whole place while improving her skills. Some talented friends will help her hunt, gather, and sell her medicine.

Ophelia is Sarasa’s sensei and the one who played the cruel joke by gifting her a broken-down shop. She is one of the few master class alchemists and taught Sarasa the basics. Maria is Ophelia’s store clerk who cares about Sarasa.
The road ahead of Sarasa is not just bumpy but downright dangerous. Can she and her friends overcome all these difficulties to become renowned alchemists?

Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei is a light novel series by Mizuho Itsuki that is inspiring an anime. The light novel was first published on November 1, 2018, on the Let’s be Novelists website.
The anime focuses on Sarasa who has just graduated from a royal alchemist school. She receives a new shop as a gift from her master and immediately departs to set her life up in her own place.
Little did she know that the house is in a dilapidated condition where she will have to start her business from scratch.
