The preview for the next episode 18, titled “We’ve Come This Far,” has been released.

We can see that Michiru is extremely annoyed with the fact that the girls from the other team are easily able to score runs through her pitching. In the next episode, we can expect Michiru to play more fiercely as she is not willing to give up!

3. Recap of Episode 17

Episode 17, titled, “The Unexpected Pitcher” begins with Daigo’s team switching to pitching balls and Chisato going for pitching the ball. After throwing one ball, she takes a timeout and calls Daigo to inform him that she can’t pitch any further as she hasn’t pitched in a long time and feels tired. Daigo trying to figure out whom to send next for pitching, Yayoi says that she is willing to go for pitching.

Everyone was shocked at the fact that Yayoi was willing to go for pitching. She threw two fastballs at Sekocchi which gave them two strikes, she also threw a forkball which left everyone amazed by her skill as they never see her go for pitching. Further, she also threw a breaking ball and another forkball, and with the help of Sagara, they managed to get two batsmen out of the match.

Further, when they again switch to bating. Daigo goes first, but he wasn’t able to score any runs, then Kamabshima goes for batting and scores the team up to three runs while the pitcher Michiru was getting irritated by the easy runs. Then Tanba and Kandori go for batting but they were unable to score anything.

As Sakura goes for batting with all her spirit, she was able to score a lot of runs for the team. Now they are three runs behind with two outs in the last inning. At the end of the episode, we see that Daigo’s father was watching over their match!
