The preview for the next episode 17 is titled “The Unexpected Pitcher”. We see that everyone is eager to prepare themselves for the match as it gets more serious. We speculate that we will see Chisato gradually become better at playing baseball and she is already doing good considering she has no experience!

3. Recap of Episode 16

Episode 16 titled “Reconnected Feelings” begins with Chisato going to bat and she isn’t able to help much as she was inexperienced but her father still cheered her on. In her next turn, we see her make a homerun which shows that she has the potential.

Then we see Shiego’s batting and he gets three strikes. Next, we see Nishina go for batting and he aims for a bunt, while his teammates cheered him on. Further, we see Kabashima and Tanba go for batting and scoring a few points. Then Kandori goes in and scores a few more points for the team even though she was physically and emotionally exhausted from playing in the previous matches.

At the end of the episode, Sagara makes a foul three times and runs through the field for the points but she doesn’t make it in time and the referee says she’s out.

Another teammate comes and helps her get up and she says that she just wanted to get her uniform dirty as she always liked to keep it neat before.
