It was a good build-up episode. It set up the stage for what’s coming next. The episode mostly focused on Asmodeus and his obsession with being beside Iruma. Poor Asmodeus can’t even spend time with his master.

The Dorodoro brothers stole the show. Even though they are second years, they are still appearing for the exam and have challenged Sablo and Alice for a match.

Episode 4 Recap

Iruma and his class are ready to take over the harvest festival. The stage for the festival is set. The lecturer of Magic Beast Studies has set up the field and described the festival’s rules to the first-year students.

Walb, the most famous first-year reporter, describes the first-year students who have great skills and will provide tough competition to everyone. He talks about how everyone looks forward to how the abnormal class will perform.

However, he thinks that they are pretty cozy looking, so it will be easy to defeat them. Walb and other participants get scared when the abnormal class shows up all beaten and worn out.

They all start discussing their training, leading to a quarrel about who had the hardest training. They decide to settle this fight with the result of the harvest festival.

Asmodeus is overwhelmed after seeing Iruma after a long time. Iruma is quite motivated to see how hard everyone has trained. He leaves after saying his wishes.

Asmodeus is shocked that he is separated from Iruma again. Asmodeus is not worried about the festival as he is already ranked Dalet before the fuss. He just wants to stay beside Iruma (I think he is in love with Iruma!).

The festival begins. When the abnormal class huddle together, Iruma shouts that if anyone gets in their way, they will kill him. The harvest festival is point-based.

Asmodeus collects many points in frustration as he is in a bad mood. He teams up with Sablo to collect 100,000 points and win the festival. They have to focus on boss-level ingredients.

Asmodeus talks about the Legendary Leaf, whose worth alone is 100,000 points. No one has ever got their hands on it. While they are laying out their plan, the Dorodoro brothers appear out of nowhere.

They both challenge Sablo and Alice to a match.
