Mahō Shōjo Magical Destroyers Promo Video Reveals Smartphone Game
The official website for the Maho Shojo Magical Destroyers television anime released two new promotional videos. The first video introduces Otaku Hero and the second reveals a new smartphone game for the anime titled Magical Girls Destroyer Kai.
The game will feature the anime’s protagonist Anarchy, Blue, and Pink. The first game-exclusive character revealed is Peace, who will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka. Uesaka’s new single, “Rebellion,” appearing on her upcoming album LOVE CRAZY, will also be used as the game’s theme song.
A pre-registration campaign for the game will begin on February 1.
The anime is set to premiere in April in the Animeism programming block on the MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS channels.
The anime follows four otakus as they fight for freedom, when a mysterious force starts eliminating the otaku culture in the year 2008.
The anime stars Makoto Furukawa as the Otaku Hero, Fairouz Ai as Anarchy, Aimi as Blue, and Tomoyo Kurosawa as Pink.
The anime is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata at Bibury Animation Studios. Masao Kawase will be the action director, and Daishiro Tanimura is in charge of series scripts.

In 2008, a mysterious organization, SSC, eliminated the otaku culture in Japan. The anime focuses on an otaku hero standing against them, with three magical girls – Anarchy, Blue, and Pink accompanying him. Together, they seek to save and restore the otaku culture.
