The story starts with a bookworm noble girl, Elianne, who receives an unusual proposal. The country’s prince promises her all the books in the royal library and unlimited free time if she gets engaged to him. (Belle would be jealous)
So, like any sane person, Elianne accepted this offer. A palace romance, mystery, and drama series all at once, Bibliophile Princess is finally receiving the anime adaptation it deserves.
The Bibliophile Princess anime will be released in 2022, and Studio Madhouse will animate it.
A gorgeous illustration has been revealed on the official website to commemorate the anime’s announcement.
The beautiful image showcases Elianne, Price Christopher, and other palace officials like Alexi, Glen, and Alan. It is like a feast of visually appealing characters in the palace.

Bibliophile Princess is a light novel series by Yui which was serialized from 2015 to 2022. It has also received a manga adaptation which is illustrated by Yui.
The plot follows Elianne, a bookworm who is engaged to the prince of the country. She thinks that it is a marriage of convenience, and the prince lets her read books in the palace to her heart’s content. Suddenly she feels like her position in the palace as well as in the prince’s heart is in danger.
