Nanachi, Reg, and Nico enter the sixth layer in episode 2 of Made in Abyss season 2, titled “Capital of the Unreturned.”
We got inside the beautiful and mysterious world of the sixth layer. The animation added to the overall experience, and I was spellbound. We saw some new creatures like a turbinid dragon and mizojacks too.
However, we didn’t get time to have some more peaceful exploration as the protagonists got into trouble pretty soon. The mystery deepened as they reached an unknown place and met a strange creature.

Episode 3 Speculations
Episode 3 will track the journey of Vueko and her crew. Episode 2 entirely focused on Rico, Reg, and Nanachi, so the next one will probably focus on the other team. Vueko and the team will meet some new and strange creatures in the sixth layer.
We will get to know whether these creatures are friends or enemies in the next episode. However, it will not be late when tragedy strikes again, and they will get into trouble as some strange sickness will befall them. I can’t wait to get disturbed and distressed again.

Episode 2 Recap
Riko, Reg, and Nanachi reach the sixth layer. Riko is spell bounded by the beauty of the place. Nanachi tells her to be careful and that they should lay out their camp first.
They meet a turbinid dragon and some bunch of mizojacks. Riko tells them that the freshly laid eggs of these mizojacks serve as good food. Reg gets his hands on some of these eggs in mizojack’s caves. As they come out of the cave, a huge bubble of fire bursts in front of them.
The bubble carried poisonous gas and was extremely dangerous. Some more such bubbles form and burst around the region, but the trio successfully escapes them all. Riko is able to save some eggs for them to eat.
They boiled the eggs, but the yolk inside was still alive. Riko makes a dish out of those eggs and makes them eatable. Riko decides to write a letter to her friends in the orphanage. She packs some food with the letter and sends it away, but some bird-like creatures take it away.
The following day, Nanachi finds some strange symbol on paper. Riko finds out that Prushka is missing. Nanachi thinks someone snatched the mail from the birds, tracked them, and took Prushka away.
They decide to follow Prushka’s scent and head out. On their way, Meinya finds some remains of two small animals. They find some hair inside the remains, and Neg tells them that the hair belongs to Nanachi and Riko. They find some footprints and follow them.
The trio ends up at a strange bridge and finds the same symbol at the other end of the bridge. While crossing the bridge, Nanachi and Reg hear someone’s voice. They enter a peculiar gate on the other side. They find a massive bunch of strange creatures.
A weird robot-like species greet them, and its name is Majikaya. In the hope of finding Prushka, they decide to follow Majikaya.
About Made In Abyss
An orphaned girl named Riko lives in the Belchero Orphanage in the town of Orth.
The town surrounds a strange, giant hole going deep into the Earth, which is commonly called the Abyss.
The Abyss harbours artefacts and remnants of a civilization long gone, and is, therefore, the popular hunting spot for so-called Cave Raiders, who undertake arduous and dangerous descents into the mist-filled pit to recover whatever relics they can find.
Some legendary Cave Raiders earn the title of White Whistle, one of them being Riko’s mother, Lyza.
Riko’s longing in life is to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a White Whistle. One day she discovers a robot resembling a human boy in the Abyss and names him Reg.
Riko and her friends sneak Reg into Belchero and quickly welcome him into their close-knit group.
Sometime later, a balloon reaches the surface from the depths of the Abyss containing pages of discoveries made by Lyza, as well as a message for Riko stating she is waiting at the bottom of the Abyss.
Riko, determined to find her mother, bids farewell to her friends and departs to the Abyss with Reg as her companion.
