If you are an anime fan, you must be aware of Lupin III and his various misdeeds by now. This iconic character has proved himself to be the supreme con master with skills that no one else can match.
While watching the Lupin III series, you must have wondered about his childhood and upbringing at least once. While we have received some glimpses of his past, no one knows about his teenage life.
Lupin III fans will get the surprise of their lives as a new anime called ‘Lupin Zero’ will be released on December 16, 2022. ‘Lupin Zero’ will portray Lupin’s early life and youth in six episodes that HIDIVE will stream.
The story will take place in early 1960s Tokyo, at a time when Japan was experiencing high economic growth. The new trailer will find a vintage anime style that suits the timeline.
‘Lupin Zero’ is an original story about 13-year old Lupin, probably the most cunning teenager you have ever known. As a teenager, he was a nobody but still dreamt of becoming the greatest thief of the century.
We all know that little Lupin will fulfill his dreams, but seeing this kid attempt heists bigger than his size will still be interesting.
The anime will receive a world premiere on November 18, 2022, at the Anime NYC event. Different websites will stream it in December

Lupin Zero will combine the original manga with some new plot points to create a captivating story. There will be new crooks (old ones, actually), a new heist, and zero inhibitions on the plate of this young Lupin.

Lupin Zero is an original anime for the Lupin III franchise. It will have 6 episodes and will debut in December 2022.
The story focuses on a young Lupin who is determined to proove that he is the best thief in the world. He will go out of his way to pull heists and reach his goal.
