Episode 20 of Lupin III, part 6, titled “Two Terrible Ladies,” is the latest installment of the anime.
This episode was pretty light-hearted, and we saw Fujiko’s gentle side. She reunited with an old partner-in-crime, Amelia, who wanted to team up again for one last heist.
Initially, she told Fujiko that she wanted to steal a necklace from a cult leader, but Fujiko soon discovers her true intentions.
Amelia wanted to kill the cult leader, who used to head an IT company notorious for human trafficking and organ harvesting. Many of Amelia’s friends died due to his crimes, and hence, she and Fujiko infiltrate his cult and kill him.
What adventure awaits Lupin and his gang next? We’ll find out in the next episode.
Episode 21 Speculation
The next episode takes place in Mitten, an island where people live in peace and harmony. The team finds themselves stranded there, and a local mermaid catches their attention.
Something strange is undoubtedly going to happen since Lupin has a talent for attracting trouble.
The story in Cotornica following Hazel’s death is still on hold, and we’ll have to wait another week to find out Mattea’s true nature.

Episode 20 Recap
Fujiko and Lupin are on a video call while getting ready for a date. Lupin is trying to hack into a shady website on the dark web while Fujiko is in a grocery store. The lady runs into an old associate, Amelia.
She interrupts the video call and cheerfully talks to Fujiko while completely ignoring Lupin. Amelia wants to team up with Fujiko just like in the old times, but Fujiko reminds her of their low success rate, but it doesn’t bother her.
We cut to a flashback where the duo enters a high-security mansion and starts looking through some files to steal some blackmail-worthy information. The estate belongs to a controversial IT firm’s leader, Grayson.
Fujiko finds something interesting and calls Amelia to show her the discovery. On the other hand, Amelia is busy scanning a file with the names and prices of some people.
They’re soon discovered by Grayson and his men, who reveal that the entire room is controlled by an AI. No one can get away with robbery by using a fake card like Amelia did.
His men restrain the two girls, and Grayson tries to stamp his company’s logo using a hot iron rod on Fujiko’s face. The girls make a run for it, making Grayson fall into his own trap.
In the present, Amelia tells Fujiko that she wants to team up with her and steal a precious necklace from a cult leader. She tells her that they will infiltrate the church of Ayon, the cult’s headquarters disguised as nuns.
They travel towards Atlas island, where the church is located. Fujiko calls Lupin while they stop for gas and asks him for a favor. Amelia comments on how she knew they were a thing, but Fujiko brushes it off.
When they reach their final stop, they decide to spend a night at a hotel. While Fujiko sleeps, Amelia looks at a childhood picture, where she’s surrounded by a group of friends. The next day, they enter the church, where Fujiko discovers that the cult leader is none other than Grayson.
Amelia tells her that she was working with Grayson the entire time and lured her in so that Grayson would give her the necklace. Grayson rejoices and intends to take revenge on Fujiko for hurting him years ago.
Fujiko is then tied up and is about to get her skin burnt by Grayson’s iron stamp. Before the seal touches her, Amelia comes in and kicks Grayson, revealing that this was their plan all along.
Shocked, Grayson tries to kill them using his AI, but unfortunately for him, Lupin has taken control. Fujiko tells Amelia that she was the one who asked Lupin to look into the cult, and coincidentally, he was trying to hack into the same shady site.
Amelia tells Grayson that his human trafficking ring kidnapped and killed most of the girls from her orphanage, and she wanted to take revenge by killing him. Just before she can pull the trigger, Lupin sets the room on fire, and they all escape, leaving Grayson behind to die.
On the way back, Fujiko tells Amelia that she didn’t let her shoot him because she knew that she was pregnant. Amelia is pleasantly surprised that Fujiko noticed. A few months later, we see Fujiko playing with Amelia’s baby in a park.
