Lupin III Part 6 Episode 15: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 14 of Lupin III, Part 6, titled “The Mirage Women,” is the latest installment of the anime.

This episode raised more questions than it answered. We finally found out a bit more about Lupin’s past, but it wasn’t anything too deep.

The woman named Tomoe, whom we thought to be Lupin’s mother, was actually his teacher. She was like a mother figure to him but wasn’t related to him biologically.

The twist is that Lupin believed that Tomoe was dead after she was involved in a robbery. However, the leader of Elvira, Mercedes, also claims to be trained by her. This can only mean that Tomoe is, in fact, still alive.

Episode 15 Speculation

In the next episode, we’ll dive into Jigen’s past. In a small town, a lady doctor once saved Jigen’s life. Now, that doctor is going to celebrate the happiest day of her life, which is her marriage.

Jigen will attend this wedding, but it seems like something wicked is on its way. Will Jigen ensure the safety of the doctor? We’ll find out in the next episode of Lupin III.

Episode 15 of the Lupin III Part 6 anime, titled “Wedding Bells Ring with the Sound of Gunfire”, has been released on Saturday, Jan 22, 2022.

Episode 14 Recap

The episode continues with Lupin visiting an injured Mattea at the hospital. He reveals his identity to her, and despite being quite taken aback, Mattea treats this incident as a valuable experience.

Lupin then joins Jigen for lunch as Goemon serves them soba noodles. As they eat, Fujiko arrives and tells them that she has found some crucial information about the robbers from the previous night.

She tells them that they are a group called Elvira, and their leader is a lady named Mercedes Camilo.

The Elvira are heading towards Mexico for their next heist, and Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon decide to follow their tracks.

Elsewhere, inspector Zenigata and his team of detectives have also pinpointed the location of Elvira and hence, have informed the Mexican police about surrounding the area.

While traveling, Lupin tells Jigen and Goemon more about Tomoe, whom he previously claimed to be his mother. It turns out that Tomoe was actually his teacher who was killed when she stole a gem from the Lupin household.

When Lupin and the gang reach the location, they find it flooding with police cars and hundreds of officers on standby.

Suddenly, a swarm of military tanks flock in and shoot at the police. The robbers are also equipped with machine guns and use them to fire continuously.

When they steal their treasure, the Elvira swiftly escape while Zenigata follows them using a tracking device given to him by Fujiko.

Lupin, Jigen, and Zenigata infiltrate the Elvira’s quarters and manage to fight them off despite being heavily outnumbered. We see that all the other members of the gang are ordinary thieves disguised as Mercedes.

Lupin sneaks into Mercedes’ chambers and asks her how she knows about Tomoe. She claims that Tomoe used to be her teacher, too, implying that she actually wasn’t dead.

Lupin has a little back and forth with Mercedes but takes back the gem stolen from his grandfather with Fujiko’s help.

As the police arrive at their quarters, Lupin and his team successfully escape while the Elvira are arrested for their crimes.
